Cleaning the City

Eugenie Kavanagh has a proud history of rolling up her sleeves and taking direct action to care for the city—literally. From organizing and participating in community cleanups to personally picking up trash on the streets of Brockton, she have shown that leadership starts with service. Her hands-on approach reflects a deep love for the city and a belief that every neighborhood deserves to be clean, safe, and respected. This commitment to maintaining Brockton’s beauty goes hand-in-hand with her broader efforts to uplift the community through civic engagement, public health, and equity-focused advocacy.

During Candidate Eugenie Kavanagh’s time building relationships and volunteering throughout the Brockton community, she personally invested her time, money, and energy into supporting those most in need. One powerful example includes donating cold water and soda to the homeless population around the downtown area during the hot summer months. It was during this outreach that she met a vulnerable resident and the compassionate business owner of SoupMan, as well as members of a local church who regularly provide meals, showers, and clothes to the homeless. These experiences deepened Eugenie’s understanding of the challenges facing Brockton’s unhoused population and further fueled her commitment to collaborative, community-driven solutions.
